Job description

Tent installer:

The tent installer position involves going out and installing tents, tables, chairs and other rental equipment. We often travel 50 miles or more to job sites and all driving time is paid. You’ll work at a new jobsite nearly every day. Loading and unloading trucks at the warehouse is also part of this job. In the winter, there is more work in the warehouse such as washing and repairing tents.

A strong work ethic and a team-player mentality is necessary. You must be able to lift 50 pounds four feet high. You will be required to work some overtime and Saturdays outdoors in both hot and cold weather. Starting time varies, but it is normally between 5 and 7 AM.

Seasonal positions are available from approximately May 1 - November 1.

Customer service:

The Customer Service person manages contact with customers. There are numerous responsibilities shared among the customer team with each person taking on the duties most needed and aligning with their strengths and interests. Key duties include:

  • Responding to customer inquiries through phone, email, and face-to-face channels.

  • Guiding customers in planning events, generating quotes, and resolving concerns.

  • Working closely with dispatchers on scheduling.

  • Managing inventory availability and arranging equipment subrentals.

  • Applying for tent permits

  • Invoicing clients after events.

  • Basic accounting.

  • Keeping the showroom neat, clean, and attractive.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented person willing to multitask and build positive customer relationships. Full-time benefits:

  • Bonuses are awarded twice each year based on company key performance indicators and your seniority with the company.

  • Many times, hours are long, but there is flexibility for vacations especially in the winter slow season.

  • Five eight-hour days paid vacation beginning the second year of your full-time employment. Each additional year one vacation day will be added with a maximum of 15 days.
