4 Must-Haves When Throwing a Surprise Party

Plan the perfect surprise party with these essential elements. Consider everything from the venue to the big reveal to host a memorable event.

The inside of a party tent with plastic windows and a colorful flag garland. The windows reveal trees and greenery outside.

Planning a surprise party requires careful coordination and attention to detail. Keeping everything under wraps while ensuring your guest of honor feels celebrated is exciting—and maybe a little daunting. Success depends on having the right elements in place before the main event. Luckily, we’re going to share the four must-haves when throwing a surprise party so you can pull yours off without a hitch!

1. The Perfect Venue

Your venue sets the tone for the celebration. Consider your guest of honor’s preferences and the number of attendees when making this decision. Indoor locations offer built-in climate control and privacy, while outdoor spaces provide natural beauty and flexibility for larger groups.

Weather protection is essential for outdoor celebrations. A temperature-controlled tent rental can transform any backyard or park into a comfortable, weather-resistant party space. With a party tent, you won’t have to worry about Mother Nature raining on your parade.

2. A Well-Planned Guest List

Start planning your guest list at least three weeks before the party date. Include close family members, friends, and colleagues who matter most to the guest of honor. Remember to clearly mark invitations as “SURPRISE PARTY” and include specific arrival times.

Consider these invitation essentials:

  • Send invitations two to three weeks in advance.

  • Include clear arrival instructions (for example, “Arrive 30 minutes early”).

  • Request RSVPs one week before the party.

  • Provide contact information for questions.

  • Include parking or transportation details.

Digital invitations work well for surprise parties because they allow for easy updates and quick communication with all guests.

3. The Ultimate Menu and Refreshments

Food and drinks can make or break your celebration. Offer your guest of honor’s favorite foods while considering the dietary restrictions of other attendees. Keep preparation simple by selecting dishes that you can make ahead of time or get catered easily.

Finger foods, appetizers, and a special cake make the perfect combination for most surprise gatherings. Don’t forget to serve both alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to accommodate all guests.

4. An Unforgettable Big Reveal!

The surprise moment requires precise timing and coordination. Designate one person as the “point person” who will bring the guest of honor to the party location. All other guests should arrive 30 to 45 minutes early to ensure everyone is in position.

Choose a signal word or gesture that lets everyone know when to yell “Surprise!” Practice this moment with early arrivals to avoid confusion. Position someone with a camera near the entrance to capture the guest of honor’s reaction.

These four must-haves will bring your surprise party together with some thoughtful planning and attention to detail. Each element contributes to an unforgettable experience that shows your guest of honor how much they mean to you.

Ready to start planning your surprise celebration? Contact Tents for Rent today. We have everything you need to make your event truly memorable, from air-conditioned tent rentals to heating solutions. Let our expert team help you create the perfect surprise party!

Helpful Tips for Planning a Large Birthday Party

Early planning and reasonable expectations make up the backbone of birthday celebrations. Here are eight helpful tips for planning a large birthday party.

Planning a large birthday party can seem daunting and stressful. With so many details to consider and people to please, it’s essential to approach the process with a clear plan and a positive mindset. Here are some helpful tips for planning a large birthday party to make the event memorable and enjoyable for everyone involved.

Start the Planning Process Well in Advance

Begin your preparations several months before the event date. This extra time gives you enough space to plan all the necessary details without feeling rushed. Early planning also provides more flexibility in case unforeseen problems arise.

Don’t Worry About Satisfying Every Single Guest

It's natural to want everyone to have a great time, but it's important to remember that you can't please everyone. Focus on creating a fun and comfortable environment for the guest of honor and their core group of attendees. Trying to cater to every individual preference will result in unnecessary stress and hinder your hosting abilities.

Plan an Outdoor Party in the Summer

Summer is the perfect time for an outdoor birthday party. The warm weather and extended daylight hours provide an excellent backdrop for festivities.

Outdoor parties can accommodate larger groups and leave space for a wider range of activities. Consider renting tents or canopies to provide shade and create comfortable areas for socializing.

Always Have a Backup Location Just in Case

Unforeseen circumstances like bad weather can disrupt even the best-laid plans. A backup indoor location will ensure the party continues regardless of the conditions.

The secondary location could be a community center, a friend’s house, or a rental hall. Confirm your backup plan well in advance to avoid any last-minute scrambling.

Keep the Menu Simple and Consistent

A simple, consistent menu makes managing food preparation and service easier. Choose a mix of crowd-pleasers that are easy to serve and eat.

Finger foods, barbecue, or buffet-style meals are excellent choices for large gatherings. By offering a few alternative options, you can account for any dietary restrictions among your guests.

Send Out a Mass Email Instead of Mailing Physical Invitations

Sending out mass emails is a quick and efficient way to invite guests. This method saves time and money and ensures your guests receive their invites promptly.

Include all necessary details, such as the date, time, location, RSVP information, and special instructions. Digital invitations also make it easy to follow up with reminders as the event approaches.

Plan Fun Activities Without Going Overboard

Activities are essential for any birthday party, especially for larger groups. Plan a few engaging activities that are easy to organize and participate in, such as games, a photo booth, or a talent show.

However, avoid overloading the schedule with too many activities. Leave plenty of time for guests to mingle, relax, and enjoy each other’s company.

Successful party planning hinges on early preparation, realistic expectations, and a flexible approach. With these helpful tips for planning a large birthday party, you can produce a memorable and enjoyable experience for all.

Remember to consider birthday tent rentals from Tents for Rent for an outdoor event. These tents provide shelter and comfort for your guests. With thoughtful planning and a positive attitude, your guests will fondly reflect on your birthday celebration and wonder how they can create the same atmosphere at their party.

Pole Tent vs Frame Tent: Which Is Right for Your Event?

The right outdoor tent can impact whether people view your event as a success or failure. Find out whether pole tents or frame tents are right for your event.

Choosing the right type of tent is one major decision you’ll face when planning an outdoor event. Choosing between pole and frame tents can significantly influence the ambiance and functionality of your gathering. Let’s walk through our guide comparing pole tents and frame tents to help you decide which is right for your event.

A Brief Explanation of Pole Tents and Frame Tents

Pole tents have high peaks created by central poles and a canvas stretched over them, offering a traditional and elegant look. They rely on stakes driven into the ground for stability, making them ideal for grassy locations. The canvas’s dramatic peaks and swooping lines create a festive atmosphere, which many prefer for weddings and classic outdoor celebrations.

Frame tents feature an assembled framework of metal pipes that support the fabric roof and define the structure’s shape. Unlike pole tents, frame tents do not require interior poles, providing an unobstructed interior ideal for events where guests need more floor space. You can set up frame tents on various surfaces, including concrete and asphalt, as they don’t need stakes that penetrate the ground deeply.

Spotting the Difference Between the Two

The primary difference between pole and frame tents is their structural support and setup needs. Pole tents require deeper anchoring into the ground and work better on soft surfaces. Because of the draped fabric between the poles, they have more swooping interior lines.

Frame tents offer more versatility in terms of layout and surface compatibility. Their modular structure can more readily adapt to event sizes and spaces than pole tents. The absence of center poles allows for uninterrupted space, particularly beneficial for events with large attendances or customized layouts.

Which Tent Style Is Better for Commercial Events?

Frame tents often emerge as the better choice for commercial events such as festivals, trade shows, or large corporate functions. Their ability to adapt to various terrains and their unobstructed interior space allows for easier accommodation of equipment, booths, and high foot traffic. Moreover, connecting multiple frame tents can create extensively covered areas, a significant advantage for large-scale events.

Pole Tent or Frame Tent: Which Should You Choose for Your Next Event?

The decision between a pole tent and a frame tent largely depends on the specific needs of your event. Consider selecting a pole tent if you’re organizing a wedding, garden party, or event where aesthetics are a priority. Its elegant design can enhance the overall theme and mood of your event.

You might prefer a frame tent for events requiring flexible setups or dealing with challenging ground conditions. Its easy setup on various surfaces makes it suitable for nearly any event.

Consider the event you’re hosting, the terrain, and your specific needs when searching for event tent rentals in PA and the surrounding states. Understanding the difference between pole tents and frame tents will help you decide which is right for your event.

The right tent can factor heavily in your event’s success or failure, so it’s important to gather all relevant information before visiting Tents for Rent and making your final decision.

5 Ideas of On-Campus Tents for College Commencement Celebrations

Do you want to organize the best commencement celebration at your college? The one that everyone will remember and it will be talked about for years?

Then go for an outdoor themed party, it will be a perfect solution! It will be able to host as many students as want, and it will not be one of those lame every-year celebrations that they have. This party will rock!

Here are five ideas for you for the theme to choose and how to decorate your tent:

The Great Gatsby Themed Party

If you wanted to get at least the feeling of the most spectacular Long Island party, you probably already watched the movie. But rewatch it from the event manager's point of view! The sea of ideas will literally overwhelm you!

Your tent should shine, glow with lights and sparkle - garlands, serpentine, strings of pearl beads, tinsel, golden or silver confetti, add your own idea! The sparks should dance on the crystal of glasses and huge chandeliers, reflected from endless mirrors.

The ceiling should be decorated with balloons, and you should put multi-colored hydrangeas or roses everywhere. Arrange spectacular bottling of champagne into a pyramid of glasses, consider ordering cold fountains and sparklers.

Do not forget about comfortable sofas. Every detail should scream: "I have indecent money. And yes, I spend it on this nonsense!"

The Greek Themed Party

The pompous party in the Greek style is a fascinating and beautiful idea for a celebration.

To bring the feeling of a real Greek party, be sure to maintain the design in a specific color scheme. The primary shades better be white and ivory. A lot of muffled greenery (olive shade), bright spots of fruits, and delicate buds of pinkish, violet, or yellowish shades will make the tent even more attractive.

Add some gold to outline the connection between the decor and the costumes of the guests. And, of course, there should be some brown shades to represent such elements as wood, earth, clay. Add some vases and utensils, as well ass national ornaments on textiles.

This themed party is especially popular among students. A specialist from EssayPro, Jenny Ronalds shared her personal college experience: "There was this one time, I recall, I was working on my term paper outline and was quite busy. But my friends convinced me to go to a party with them. We had a lot of themed-parties at uni. But that one was the best. It was a Greek styled party. It was a blast!"

Japanese Themed Party

Travel to another world full of surprising discoveries, colorful images, and with a completely different attitude to life. The party in the Japanese style is a restful, detachment from problems and an unforgettable immersion in the culture of one of the most mysterious places on the planet.

Here's the list of what you may use to decorate the tent:

●     Pictures with images of sakura, fans,  landscapes, and etc.

●     Fans with oriental ornaments;

●     A low table on which a large fan, a vase with hieroglyphs, figurines, and several origami crafts can be placed;

●     Flower ikebana;

●     Candles floating in water (for example, in large glasses or transparent dishes) together with rose petals or buds;

●     aromatic lamps with oriental ornaments.

Hawaiian Themed Party

Want to make a unique theme party that you haven't done before? Then, perhaps, you will like choosing the style of Hawaii. Think about it - coconuts, palm leaves, and fruit snacks everywhere.

Is there anything better than recreating the hot beaches of these unique islands?

To create a festive atmosphere, it is necessary to decorate the tent with beautiful flowers, Hawaiian leis, and other attributes of hot islands. You may also use the flower-patterned tablecloths. Add some balloons, island paintings and fresh flowers, such as home palm trees.

Wild West Themed Party

Would you like to go back even for a day to the times when harsh men spoke about the matter of honor? A cowboy party can serve as a great celebration option!

It is necessary to create a farm atmosphere. You can decorate the tent with red flags, arrange wildflowers, spikelets in vases from vines, add some bright feathers. If you can organize a retro-bar style reception, this will be a wonderful highlight of the party!

Hang retro curtains. Cover the tables with tablecloths of a characteristic color, for instance, red-white cells. Hay bales will look harmonious both in the yard and near the festive table.

Hang something like a lasso, cowboy hats, horseshoes all over the territory. Put tin cans on the fence in rows. At the entrance to the courtyard, hang a large poster "Wanted" with a photograph of one of the guests.

Questions we'll ask at delivery video

Your event is almost here and there are a few questions we’ll be asking about installing your tent. Here they are, so you can think about them ahead of time:

Your event is almost here and there are a few questions we’ll be asking about installing your tent. Here they are, so you can think about them ahead of time:

Where do you want us to place the tent? Think about a location that is as level as possible and easy for your guests to access. Will you have any special considerations, such as handicapped guests? The tent can be placed on unlevel ground, but it’s not very comfortable to sit in a chair on the side of a hill. Also, please be sure that the area is clear of any furniture or obstructions before we arrive. It’s also a good idea to have the lawn mowed the day before our arrival.

Can we back our truck into your yard? We usually deliver with pickups and trailers. If we can back our truck up next to the tent site, it makes life a lot easier for us. However, we don’t want to cause any damage. So, we can hand carry everything if you’d rather that we didn’t back onto your lawn. (In that case, we’ll need cold drinks. Just kidding, we’ll be just fine!)

Are there any underground lines? We don’t want to damage lines for outdoor lighting, sprinklers, gas lines, or your pool. So, be sure to find out where they are so that we can avoid any damage to them

Do you want us to install the tent walls? They can be open or closed, but in most cases, it’s best to leave the tent as open as possible. We have a video dedicated to that decision. We can leave some walls onsite in case you need to add them later. If you want to know how to install the walls, we have easy video instructions for that as well.

Where is the power source? If you have ordered lights but not a generator, we’ll need one or more heavy duty circuits to power the lighting

Where do you want us to leave the accessories like chairs, tables, linens, flooring and extra walls?

If you have any questions of your own, feel free to contact us. 717.733.9700 Here’s wishing you an extra special event.

What to expect on delivery day

What should you expect on your tent delivery day? Watch this video to find out.

What should you expect on your tent delivery day?

It starts a few days before your delivery when you receive an email or a call from one of our schedulers notifying you of the time that we will be arriving to deliver your tent. Please confirm promptly so that we can proceed with planning all our deliveries for that day.

Normally, our crew will load their trucks a day or two before your delivery. So, if you have any changes to your order, please let us know as far ahead as possible.

To prepare for our arrival, please have the area where the tent will be installed cleared of any obstructions. If you need to mow the yard, please do that before our arrival as lawn mowers and tent crews do not mingle well! Our crew will do their best to arrive within the scheduled time range. However, weather, traffic and other unforeseen circumstances can change the schedule. Usually, our crew will arrive in a pickup truck and trailer for delivery. The crew leader will meet with you to find out exactly where the tent will be placed. He will work with you to find the best possible location for the tent. Unless you’ve already made other arrangements, he will also collect payment on arrival.

In order to speed up the delivery process, we like to park our trucks as close as possible to the tent installation spot. Our crews work quickly and efficiently. So, your tent should be installed as quickly as one hour. If it’s very large, it may take several hours.

After the tent is installed, we’ll need to know if you want us to install side walls on the tent. In most cases, we recommend leaving the tent as open as possible for fresh air and breezes. If you decide to leave the sides open, we can leave the walls onsite so that you can put them on later if the weather changes.

If you’ve rented additional accessories such as lighting, flooring, or power, we will install those things next. Tables, chairs and linens are the only items that do not include installation and removal in the rental cost. So, unless you’ve specified that you want us to set them up and re-stack them, we’ll stack those items inside the tent. Please have them stacked again when we come to pick up the tent, since we may not have time to go on a scavenger hunt just then. We look forward to serving you.

If you have any questions call us today: 717.733.9700

Should I close the tent walls? Video

Today we’ll be talking about tent sidewalls. During the tent installation, one of the questions we’ll ask is whether you’d like us to enclose the tent walls or leave them open. If at all possible, it’s best to keep the walls open

Today we’ll be talking about tent sidewalls. During the tent installation, one of the questions we’ll ask is whether you’d like us to enclose the tent walls or leave them open.

Here are my recommendations. If the weather is warm, keeping most of the walls open is the best idea. It will allow more airflow to keep the guests cooler.  If rain is in the forecast, it’s a good idea to close only the side that the wind will be coming from. Even if cool or rainy weather is in the forecast, I recommend leaving at least one side of the tent open. The reason for this is that a tent that is totally enclosed can become very damp. Condensation can form on the tent and it can actually rain inside the tent. Of course, if it’s very cold or there are heaters in the tent, it’s best to enclose everything except the entrance

Even if you decide to leave some of the tent sides open, we can leave the extra walls onsite to close later if necessary. Below is a video with instructions on closing the walls. We hope you enjoy your outdoor celebration.

3 Considerations to Make When Deciding Which Table Shape is Right for Your Wedding

One of the biggest challenges that a wedding planner (professional, bride, groom, whoever) faces is seating. Before the bride and groom can sit down and figure out who sits where they have to figure out what type of wedding tables they want. It might sound trivial, but those who've dealt with the pros and cons of table shapes know just how frustrating it can be. So to help your decision, here are some factors to consider when deciding on a shape.

Space
Your first consideration should be the size of your venue. The average number of wedding guests, according to the Knot's 2014 Real Weddings Study, is 136 people. So, if you're nearing the limits of your venue, using rectangular tables might help efficiently utilize the space. However, if size and space aren't an issue, using round tables can work perfectly. That said, you can seat it doesn't make a huge difference either way. Also, if you have enough room, you can always mix and match round and rectangular tables for a fun design.

Tabletop
This is where pre-planning really comes in handy. You could decide you want round tables with six people at a table, and then when you get everything laid out on the tabletop, you figure out you really only have room for five people per table. Which would cause a last-minute headache that nobody wants to deal with. As a general rule, you should allow 2 feet of space per person, including your wedding chairs of choice and any flatware and elbow room. Remember to keep people's comfort in mind when making design decisions and keep centerpieces tasteful and simple.

Socializing
Even if you put all the great aunts and uncles that you've never actually met all at the same table, chances are that they'll still want to talk to one another. Round tables tend to be the best option if you' want to involve the entire table, whereas rectangular tables will often only allow for a few people per section.

Even though wedding tables might not seem like a big issue, they make up a large part of your wedding ambiance, so it's important to consider your options thoroughly. You'll also want to check what wedding linen rentals are available too, which might determine your shape for you.

Avoid These 3 Mistakes In Order to Have a Successful Outdoor Party This Summer

If you're thinking about hosting an outdoor event over the next few months, you better already be in the planning stage. Outdoor parties, whether big or small, can either be smooth and a lot of fun or awkward and stressful. It's all up to how you organize and execute the various aspects of event planning.

If you're thinking about hosting an outdoor event over the next few months, you'd better already be in the planning stage. Outdoor parties, whether big or small, can either be smooth and a lot of fun or awkward and stressful. It's all up to how you organize and execute the various aspects of event planning.

Here are some outdoor party mistakes that you should be aware of and avoid making so you can ensure that yourself and your guests can actually have a good time.

  1. Offering to supply all the food and drink -- It might feel strange to encourage your guests to bring a dish to pass or some drinks, but you'll be much better off asking than attempting to do everything yourself. Even if you have enough burgers, hot dogs, and drinks for the entire party, you'll be spending so much time preparing food for everyone, you won't be able to enjoy yourself or handle other party-related tasks.

  2. Not taking advantage of tent rentals -- Tent rentals are great for outdoor parties to not only give your guests a place to relax, but for combating the elements. Rain and even too much sunshine can ruin a party if you aren't careful. Backyard party tents can allow you and your guests to stay out of the rain or out of the scorching heat. Keep in mind, the decision to buy or rent a tent has many variables. For example, if you plan to only use the tent about three or four times a year for a few outdoor parties, you're much better off renting than buying.

  3. Not sending out invitations early enough -- There aren't too many people who have Saturdays free over the summer. If you want to ensure that your outdoor party is full of your close friends and family members, you need to pick a date and invite your guests as soon as possible. Once they are locked in, they won't accept invitations to other events and your party will be a success. If you wait too long, though, everyone might be busy and your party will look a lot lighter.

If you want to learn more about hosting a great party, or find quality party rentals and tent rentals, give Tents For Rent a call today. Good luck and enjoy the summer!

5.       Outdoor events feel very relaxed and casual.

Here are the cons of outdoor events:

The weather is unpredictable. It can be hot our cool. (although tent heating, fans and cooling are available). It’s also important to have a plan to host everyone underneath a tent in case of rain.

If you aren't willing to adjust plans to work with the weather, it may be best to plan your event indoors.

While there are pros and cons of planning events outdoors, we're sure you'll be just as happy with your outdoor event as these customers were.

3 Tips For Planning Your Summer Party In Advance

If you're planning on hosting an outdoor event or party this summer, you don't have to wait until it's beautiful and warm out to start getting things together. For some reason, many people believe that they can throw a successful outdoor party after a day or two of planning -- but that's simply not the case. A strong party has to be carefully thought out and organized far in advanced.

Here are some outdoor party planning tips for you to start thinking about before the summer is here and it's a little too late:

  • Rent a tent or two early on -- There are two basic styles of tents: pole tents (including tensile tents) and frame tents (including clearspan tents). Though you can't plan around the weather this far in advance, it's still a good idea to rent a tent prior to throwing your party outdoors. If the day of your event is especially hot, party tents for rent are a great option for some shade, as well as providing coverage from potential severe weather conditions.

  • Schedule a date -- Picking a date and sticking to it is a great tip that not too many people actually take advantage of. Find out who you really want to make it to the party, schedule the date around them, and send out your invitations to everyone else. If a few people can't make that date, so be it. You can't just change the date of the party every time someone says they can't go -- that's a complicated road to go down. Unfortunately, you can't please everyone, so just pick a date and stick to it. Additionally, it's best to mention a few secondary dates just in case something major comes up.

  • Utilize social media -- Social media is great for planning parties and staying in touch with everyone on your guest list. You can update every aspect of your summer event whenever you want and all your guests will be instantly informed.

If you want to rent a tent or find some quality party rentals for your upcoming outdoor event, check out Tents For Rent right away.

How to protect yourself from mosquitoes during outdoor events

If you frequently host or attend outdoor events and parties during the warmer months, then you need to know how to protect yourself and your guests from mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests that might be in attendance, and avoid the whole lot of you getting eaten alive by the bloodsucking hordes.

If you frequently host or attend outdoor events and parties during the warmer months, then you need to know how to protect yourself and your guests from mosquitoes and other unwelcome guests that might be in attendance, and avoid the whole lot of you getting eaten alive by the bloodsucking hordes. Read on to find out how. And click here for more information and tips on how to avoid mosquitoes.

Mosquito repellent

This is probably the first thing that comes to mind when you think of repelling mosquitoes. Most commercially bought mosquito repellents contain as their active ingredient a chemical called DEET, which affects the receptors on your skin that mosquitoes are attracted to so that the bugs find it more difficult to find you. Whilst effective at an individual level, it's not very practical for large outdoor gatherings – especially where food is involved. After all, mosquito repellent must be applied to all area of exposed skin to work properly – and your hands are one such area. Ingesting DEET via contaminated food can cause pain and discomfort – if the dose is sufficiently large, there can be serious health complications. There's simply too much risk involved in using DEET based repellents at events where food and large numbers of people are present. DEET also has quite a strong smell, which guests may find off-putting.

Mosquito Candle

This is one mosquito control method that can be successful at large events. Mosquito candles contain chemicals like citronella that have a proven track record at repelling the airborne pests. When you light the candle, chemicals spread into the air and help keep nearby mosquitoes at bay. They have quite a narrow range, though, and there's only so many mosquito candles you can use at an event held in in open, outdoor areas. They are probably not the most effective mosquito prevention tool out there for this type of situation.

Mosquito Traps

Mosquito traps work not be repelling mosquitoes but by attracting them to a certain location where they are then killed. Some of them make use of light and heat both of which are known to draw mosquitoes; others convert propane fuel into carbon dioxide, which animals exhale with every breath, and is one of the things that helps mosquitoes find us. The beauty of these latter devices is that the carbon dioxide they emit has just the temperature and moisture content that it can fool the mosquito into thinking it is coming from another animal – or for the mosquito, a potential food source. Once the mosquitoes are lured to the source of the trap, they are sucked inside using a vacuum mechanism situated near one of the exhaust vents of the trap. The mosquitoes are unable to break out of the trap and die of dehydration within a day. Mosquito traps are a much better option for outdoor events than candles, repellent or even netting, as they provide much greater coverage than those alternatives. One powerful trap can provide defense against mosquitoes over an area spanning up to one acre.

And here you have it, the best ways to protect yourself and others from mosquitoes while attending outdoors events. Hope these tips will help you keep the mosquitoes away so you can enjoy your next outdoor event to the fullest!

Unique Fall Trends To Consider For Your Favorite Seasonal Events

Summer isn't the only great time of the year to host an event outdoors. Surprisingly, wedding celebrations are just as likely to be hosted in September and October as they are in June. This is because fall is a great time to come together to enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful colors of the fall leaves.

Summer isn't the only great time of the year to host an event outdoors. Surprisingly, wedding celebrations are just as likely to be hosted in September and October as they are in June. This is because fall is a great time to come together to enjoy the great outdoors and the beautiful colors of the fall leaves.

Whether it's a wedding celebration, a family get-together, or a corporate pumpkin gathering, there's no better way to celebrate fall than renting a tent for a Fall event. However, before you make for the event tents and apple cider, consider these new autumn trends to incorporate into your autumn event planning.

Unique fall accents
Pumpkins and gourds are the typical fall accents for many autumn events. However, these fall staples don't have to dictate the color scheme of your tent rentals for your outdoor events. If you're hosting a corporate party, consider painting these fall favorites the colors of your company's logo or painting your business' values on the sides of each gourd.

Metals are another seasonal trend bringing shine to event tents. The orange and brown tones in metals such as copper and brass add a glimmer to the natural autumn color scheme. Consider using metals in your party decorations such as table centerpieces to add a little industrial and rustic flair to your tented event.

Turning event tents into food halls
Tent rentals come in a variety of sizes and can be used to host any event you need. Two basic styles of a tent rental include pole tents and frame tents. Whichever style you choose, you can turn your tented event into a hotspot for foodstuffs.

Guests love to dine and what better way to capitalize on new fall trends than by offering them a pop-up fall hall? Pop-up food halls have become a popular trend across the United States. They often involve dozens of food trucks, vendors, and cooks in one temporary vacation such as an event tent.

Tent and party rentals go hand in hand
Many event hosts believe that hosting a fall event outdoors can be a challenge due to the unpredictable nature of weather. However, when you rent a tent you're offering your guests a surprising amount of protection. Party tents and event tents can be customized to meet the needs of your event whether you need a smaller or larger sized event tent, wedding flooring rentals, or climate control.

Fall is a great time of year to be in the crisp air of the great outdoors. The next time you decide to host a fall-themed event, consider hosting it in an event tent with this year's unique fall trends. You'll be guaranteed to be the talk of the party.
